The Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area is a forty mile stretch of sand dunes located on the central Oregon Coast, south of Florence, OR.

The area provides many recreational opportunities including camping and hiking along five hundred foot sand dunes, along with fishing and birding at many of the areas lakes and ponds.

Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) enthusiasts flock to the area.
