Three-cornered Leek

picture of the flowers of a three-cornered leek

The Three-cornered Leek (Allium triquetrum) is an introduced wild onion.

Many people grow it as a food source. However, it also can escape into the wild and grow vigouously. Along the Southern Oregon and Northern California coast it is considered a spreading weed.

It is easily recognized in the wild by the typical onion odor and drooping white with green striped flowers.
