The Marsh Wren (Cistothorus palustris) makes its home among the cattails of marshes across the United States
Like most wrens, they have the characteristic upturned tail. If you do not see them during a walk in their habitat, you will most probably hear them. They sing all day long announcing their presence to anyone or thing in their vicinity.
