Wild Petunia (Ruellia humilis) is a perennial plant that grows up to two feet, producing multiple flowers that branch out on a slim stem.

Almost forty different Ruellia species grow in the Eastern, Midwest and Southwest states. They do not belong to the same genus as the petunia that is commonly grown in gardens.
