Hairy Tubetongue

Hairy Tubetongue (Justicia pilosella) or Gregg's tube tongue is a member of the Acanthus family, a mostly tropical family of flowering plants.

All but one of the Justicia species in the United States are native to the Southern states, with Justicia pilosella native to Texas and New Mexico.

They normally grow low to the ground and the flower color ranges from purple to pink.
