Mandrills (Mandrillus sphinx) are old world monkeys that reside in tropical rainforests of Central Africa.

Like other old world Monkeys of Africa, they are omnivores with a varied diet of fruit, nuts and small animals.

Mandrils are related to the baboon and they are known for their colorful faces.
