White Peacock

The White Peacock (Anartia jatrophae), a tropical butterfly, is the most common of the four Anartia species in the United States.

It can regularly be found flying from the southernmost areas of Arizona, east to Floria, with strays found in the Southeast and Midwest.

Caterpillars feed on Water hyssop and Wild Petunia plants. Adults nextar on flowers in the vicinity of the caterpillar plants.
