Sunset Photography Tips

Since sunset pictures often focus on sky colors, consider adding a bit of foreground flair to your next picture.
The top picture of a bridge at sunset highlights the sky color and shows the bridge and trees as a dark foreground.
The picture on the left changes the foreground perspective, showing the green fields against a purple sky.
Changing the foreground colors of a sunset picture can often be as easy as shifting the camera angle of the shot. Taking a picture with the camera lens pointing up to the sky tends to allow more light into the shot, and consequently more foreground color in the picture.
Set the camera to landscape mode and experiment by taking pictures while changing the physical angle of the lens during consecutive shots.
