The Wasatch Mountains are part of the Rocky Mountains Range that form an eastern border for Utah's population centers. The Great Salt Lake forms a good portion of the population's western border.
A lake effect snow regularly provides the Wasatch Mountains with powder that is the envy of all Western Ski Resorts.
Spending any time in Utah makes it easy to call its geology spectacular. The Wasatch are no exception.
