Siskiyou Mountains

The Siskiyou Mountains are a coastal mountain range that extend from the Southwestern corner or Oregon to the Northwestern corner of California.

They are considered a part of the larger Klamath Range, and Mount Ashland is the largest of the Siskiyou mountains in Oregon.

The picture shows a scene of brown, rolling foothills, with spots of trees, typical of the landcsape for the Klamath region in the inland parts of Northern California and Southern Oregon.

It's a much different look than the tree lines mountains that characterize much of the Cascades to the north.

Lakes and rivers form an integral part of the entire Klamath region.
