Green Nature

Corn Earworm Moth

picture of a corn earworm moth

The corn earworm moth is considered a major pest throughout the United States.

It lays its eggs on many maturing fruits and vegetables, including corn. The caterpillar of the moth then feeds on the food portion.

The moths also gather nectar on many types of flowers like this one is doing.

One of the nicest things you can say about it is that is has pretty green eyes.
