Bearded seals (Erignathus barbatus) are cold water marine mammals that live in and around the Arctic Ocean.
They spend most of their time on ice resting or in the water looking for food. Occasionally they rest on land.
The picture above shows the seal's long white whiskers. The picture also shows it's small head. However, it does not show the head size in relation to the much larger body.
