The top picture shows a side view of the male Boisduval's Blue.
The white spots with small black dots on the bottom of the wings provide the best field identification clue. Typically blue butterflies have larger black dots encircled by smaller white borders.
The top picture also slightly shows the blue color and black border typical of the top side of the male's wings.
The bottom picture shows the brown and bluish hues of the female's wings.
