The diminutive size, blue body and white cerci of the male Little Blue Dragonlet(Erythrodiplax minuscula) make for a relatively easy identification.

When spotted, a female, pictured below, is often nearby.

It is mostly a Southeastern species, that occasionally can be found as far north as New Jersey.
