White Brodiaea

picture of a White Brodiaea flowers

White Brodiaea (Triteleia hyacinthina), also called Fool's Onion, is a small native flowering plant in the lily family.

It is a fairly adaptable plant, found growing along the West Coast, primarily near wooded areas and meadows that receive adequate rainfall.

The picture shows the white flowers with green stripes growing on a single stem. Their adaptability and beauty make them a nice native plant choice for gardens.

Depending on location, they bloom from late spring through early summer.
