In what might comes across as odd, visitors to the Mangrove swamps of Florida can often catch a glimpse of crabs running along tree trunks and branches.
They probably represent a species of small marsh crabs in the family Grapsidae) live on and around the Mangrove Swamps of Florida.
The picture probably shows the Mangrove Tree Crab (Aratus pisonii), although another species, the Mangrove Root Crab (Goniopsis cruentata) also inhabits similar territory.
