Fivespot

fivespot picture

Fivespot (Nemophila maculata) is an annual wildflower native to the West Coast.

It is as adaptable a species as the daisy, and can be grown throughout most areas of the United States.

The distinct white flowers, each with a purple spot on the tip of the petal, grow low to the ground.

Plant the seeds in fall, they bloom in spring.
