Bluedicks (Dichelostemma capitatum) are the most wide ranging of the six Dichelostemma species, found growing in the West from Oregon to New Mexico.

Multiple flowers boom on a long, slender stem, and the flowers come in shades of white, blue and purple. The top picture shows a white version.
