Lowell Covered Bridge

picture of Lowell Covered Bridge

Travellers along Highway 58 to the central Cascades are treated to the sight of 165 foot Lowell Covered Bridge

Originally constructed in 1907 to aid passage across the Willamette River, the bridge has since been renovated a handful of times.

Sitting at one end of Dexter Lake, the bridge still functions as a gateway to the small community of Lowell.
