Queen's Cup Lily

picture of a queen's cup lily

The Queen's Cup lily (Clintonia uniflora) is a common West Coast perennial that grows as ground cover on forest floors.

The six petaled white flower produces a blue colored berry, giving the plant another common name, bead lily.

While they grow bountifully on the rich soils of florest floors, they are not known as easy to grow garden plants.
