Angel Falls

At 3212 feet in length, Angel Falls, located in South East Venezuela, ranks as the tallest waterfall in the world.

The falls are one of many beautiful points of interest in Canaima National Park, a World Heritage site.

Originally established in 1963, the park's size doubled in the 1970s and now encompasses three million hectares of land.

Know for its remote location, noteworthy flora and well preserved mountain, forest, grassland and riparian ecosystems, the park area has recently experienced some stress related to increased tourist activity, with Angel Falls being one of the premiere attractions.
